A grand experiment...

It is said that we only go around once. If that is the case, then this round is gonna be a rollercoaster. No gentle carousel for this boy. No scrambler, even....., though at times the things that happens seem to fit the up-down-spin-whiparoundreallyfast action of that particular ride.
No.....this is a rollercoaster. Long climbs and screaming descents, G-forces pulling the body this way and that, speed and fear and exhiliaration.
It's the experiment, you see.....herbal transformation from what he is into.....what he imagines himself to be?
Not a "guy" in the classic sense. Let's get that straight.
It's a case of adding some colour to the greyscale that he lives on.
A little deep Lapis blue. Some Alizarin Crimson. Green that you see in the first little sweet spring leaves. Golden glowing sunshine yellow. Sunset hues, stretching from the horizon into the dusky sky.
A little nerve-wracking, yes.....but now that the proverbial pony is moving, it feels like the right thing. It will continue until it is no longer right.
The boy is good at staying on, even if the horse is bucking and rearing. He just smiles and encourages forward motion.
We'll see where he ends up.
